Rite Aid and Nashville... Amazing place, amazing people

If you live near Nashville you know this, but when you drive around there are places here that look like COMPLETE war zones. I drove by a street today that every house was covered in the brown post flood gook.. and they were all throwing their belongings out in their front yard to be thrown away. It is so sad and horrible to see people losing everything they have.. so I wanted to help in any way I could. Since I am pretty good at couponing I decided to raid my stockpile for some things and then use my precious natures bounty coupons to buy some more things since being a family of four on a school teachers salary we aren't really rolling in the dough.
So I went to Rite Aid this morning with coupons that would equal around $25 in overage so I could get stuff for the flood victims. I got enough stuff that I would still be donating about $25 extra on top of it.
When I got to the checkout the cashier (who I believe is one of the managers) asked me if I was buying stuff to help people. I told her I was and she was SO awesome! She basically cut every Rite Aid product she could down to .99!!! I bought $60 worth of stuff for flood victims plus $48 worth of vitamins (to get my overage) so without sales and coupons I would have spent $108!!
Well thanks to the wonderful cashier, my coupons and the sales they were having I paid $5.54 WITH TAX!!!! My total before tax was .92!!!! I was SO happy!!
Here is what I picked up for them:

Here was my breakdown:
2 Paper Towels .62 each (thanks to cashier normally $2))
1 Dawn dish soap .99 (free after coupon)
1 Box pampers wipes 2.50
2 bottles bleach .99 each (thanks to cashier normally $2.49)
1 Baby wipe 240ct refill 1.87 (thanks to cashier and clearance normally $7.49)
2 cans bug spray 3.09 (normally 6.19)
2 Bandaids boxes .99 (thanks to cashier.. normally 2.99)
2 toilet paper .99
2 Hand Sanitizer .99 (thanks to cashier normally 2.99)
2 large Suave shampoo .99 (thanks to cashier normally 2.19)
1 Disinfecting wipes 2.79
1 Motrin PM 5.49 (.50 overage with coupons from RA ad and newspaper)
8 Natures bounty vitamins (priced $5-7 but used a $5 for each)

This city is amazing and Rite Aid just made my day by helping me to be able to give a little more than I really could afford right now!! :)
